Recent Immigration News

I want to acknowledge recent reports of increased ICE activity in and around Park Ridge. Our commitment is unwavering: Park Ridge is a community for all.

The City of Park Ridge is bound by the Illinois TRUST Act, signed into law in 2017, under then Governor Rauner. This law strictly limits when and how local law enforcement can cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. Simply put, immigration enforcement is not the role of the City of Park Ridge or its police department.

We welcome and value our diversity—across race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, family makeup, faith, and immigration background.

That diversity makes our city stronger, safer, and richer in every way.
